Cherry Creek school students excel not only in academics, but in extra curricular activities as well. A large number of these athletes go on to college on scholarships, participate as part of the U. S. Olympic teams and come back to the community to coach and mentor younger athletes.
Cherry Creek High School is now commonly referred to as Creek. The mascot is the Bruin. This is the oldest school of the high schools in the district. Graduates are accepted my many of the top colleges and universities.
Cherry Creek Middle Schools
There are two middle schools serving Greenwood Village, Campus Middle School and West Middle School. The district also offers a charter school, Cherry Creek Academy.
Campus Middle School works hard to prepare students not only for high school, but for our ever-changing world. They provide a strong support system for students in this difficult age group and work closely with the parents.
West Middle School has a large group of caring parents who provide invaluable support to the teachers, students and staff. Students are given many service projects from which to choose which embodies the caring attributes of the school.

Greenwood Village CO Schools – Littleton School District
Littleton schools also out-perform the national and state standardized test scores. They have an excellent reputation. All three of the high schools consistently rank high in athletics as well.
The motto for Littleton High School is “Make a Living, Make a Life and Make a Difference.” The school strives to give students the skills to be successful not only in the business world, but in areas of justice and social progress. Littleton High School is an International Baccalaureate world school.
Isaac Newton Middle School is the home of the Knights. They offer an excellent academic curriculum and a number of after school programs. They have strong gifted and talented programs, art and music programs.
Lenski Elementary was named after Lois Lenski who was an American writer and illustrator of children’s books.
Field Elementary was named after Eugene Field the American poet. Two of his most memorable poems are “Wynken, Blynken, and Nod” and “The Duel” (The Duel was about the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat).
