Cookie at Christmas are a real treat. Gingerbread M&M’s Cookie Jar Mix is a fun, easy to make and mouth-watering gift to give for the holidays. It’s made with Gingerbread M&M’s, but you could use regular chocolate ones instead. The recipe could be adjusted for any taste you like.
These instructions will allow you to make two gift jars.
What you need to put these jars together:
Gingerbread Cookie Mix – Boxed approx. 17 oz. bag
Gingerbread M&M’s or regular M&M’s
Gingerbread Cookie Cutter
Step 1 – Divide the gingerbread mix between the two jars.
Step 2 – Cut a piece of waxed-paper or parchments to put on top of the dry mixture.
Step 3 – Fill the jars to the top with the M&M’s. Fill it to the very top or a little over. As you put the top on, the candy will push the air out of the dry mix.
Step 4 – Cut 2 circles of your fabric. Use pinking sheers to keep the material from raveling. Screw the metal top down on top of the fabric.
Step 5 – You can be creative and make gift tags that contain the recipe, or just type the recipe on a small piece of paper and roll up and attach it with the ribbon.
Step 6 – Add decorative ribbon around the top and give to a favorite friend, teacher, client or just keep it on your counter and make it for yourself.
