In the Denver real estate market home resale prices rose by 9.2% from a year earlier. This is according to the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Indices report. Denver ranked third among the 20 large cities for year-over-year growth in home resale prices in this same report. The first quarter of this year has flown by and the Denver real estate market continues to heat up.
In the Denver real estate market the number of homes sold was up over 1% from February. Homes under contract increased by 16% for March 2017. These monthly statistics continue to support that there is no slowdown in sight for this hot market! Denver continues to be a great city to live and work in as supported by the real estate demand.
A shortage of inventory in the Denver real estate market continues to fuel the higher prices as houses continue to “fly off the shelf”.
