This is one of the most interesting neighborhoods on the west side because of its history. P. T. Barnum, America’s master showman, purchased the tract of what is now known as Barnum. A new light rail station will serve the Barnum neighborhood. Stations will be at Sheridan Blvd., Perry St. and Knox Blvd. Residents will be able to walk or bike to the stations, then end up downtown or in Golden.
The Barnum Park is going to the dogs. It is a great dog park complete with a lake. It is a great place to hang-out!
The famed Denver architect, William N. Bowman, built his home here. It is still standing and is on the National Register of Historic Places in Colorado.
Real estate prices will begin to rise as the changes happen in the area.
