Cinnamon Wrapped Candles are pretty to have in your home anywhere. In addition, they smell good and add warmth.
Cinnamon Wrapped Candles
Cinnamon sticks wrapped around a wax candle, a jar with a candle inside or the electrics flame candle bring a wonderful scent into your home. You can use vanilla, cinnamon, bay berry or unscented candles.
You will need the following materials and tools:
Cinnamon sticks – enough to surround the entire candle.
Thick rubber bands – thick ones work best as they will hold the cinnamon sticks in place.
Ribbon to tie around the candle to make it festive. Add a sprig of evergreen or holly.
Step 1: Place the rubber band around the middle of the candle. Make sure it is flat all the way around.
Step 2: Slide in the cinnamon sticks behind the elastic band all around the candle until there are no gaps left.
Step 4: Wrap the twine around the candle to hide the elastic band. You can make it as narrow or wide as you would like.
Step 5: Knot the ends of the twine when you are satisfied with the thickness of the twine and tuck the knot under the other strands.
Step 6: If you want to add a sprig of greenery, add another length of twine and tie it off with a bow. To make a a bit more festive, wrap ribbon around as many times as you want and tie into a bow.
CAUTION: NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED!
