Village East is one of my favorite neighborhoods. It is located between Havana on the east, Peoria on the west, Mississippi on the north and Jewell on the south. It has a very active neighborhood association, however, there are no covenants. You can find any style of home you want in a moderate price range. Homes are brick or brick/frame construction, 3+ bedrooms and 2+ baths. Lots of space for your dollar.
