The Denver real estate market is transitioning to Fall!
The Denver real estate market remains one of the tightest and hottest markets in the country as homes continue to sell quickly! But we know that the days will get shorter and colder so there is no time to waste!
The average price for a house in the Denver real estate market did decrease slightly from August to September. But overall average home prices in Denver are still up about 7% from a year ago.
In September, the average number of days on the market for a house was just 30 days! The national average is about 50 days. In the Denver real estate market, September key trends continue to show that that there is less inventory available for the buyer to view and buy.
Because of these indicators, house hunters looking to purchase homes experience a very limited inventory creating increased competition. Sellers in the Denver real estate market are reaping the benefits for quick sales and higher prices. But don’t be discouraged by this situation! There are still plenty of beautiful homes available to look at in your house hunting adventure. Your perseverance will find you that perfect house if you stay the course.
So as we move into the cooler months and shorter days don’t be “spooked” by the housing market! There are still many great opportunities to sell your existing home or purchase a new one!
